The two younger children were her step-grandchildren from John and Maria (Farrow) Darlow. Additionally she had three boarders from the 5th Battallion of the King's Royal Rifles: Herbert Casey age 25 of Oldham, Lancashire; Thomas Evans age 27 of Oldham, Lancashire; and Alfred Wiggins age 28 of Peterboro, Northamptonshire. The 1901 British census states that Elizabeth Darlow and her sons Charles and George resided at 33 St. Clement's Passage. She was a 56-year old widow and a charwoman. She died of senile decay and bronchitis at St. Clements's Passage, Huntingdon.
