However, the 1891 census also records Eliza Darlow as a kitchen maid in the household of housekeeper Elizabeth Winterburn at Ashby Hall, Ashby de la Launde, Lincolnshire. She was born at Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire. (RG 12, piece 2577, folio 122, p. 5) It is possible that these entries refer to the same person. There was only one Darlow family in Hemingford Grey. Eliza Darlow may have been at her parents home when the census was taken while being employed at Ashby Hall.
