Family of Jens Bonde (1)
2. Eske Jensen Bonde (Jens Bonde1). Born abt 1399 in Kollerup, Hanherred, Thysyssel, Denmark. Eske died in Kollerup, Hanherred, Thysyssel, Denmark, aft 1473; he was 74.

Eske Jensen Bonde and his brother Christen Jensen Bonde were ennobled (knighted) in 1430 by king Eric of Pomerania. ( A. Thiset og P.L. Wittrup, Nyt dansk adelslexikon (1904.), side 39. )

He was married twice since it is assumed that he was married the first time by 1445 to a daughter of the Igilfaarm. From this marriage, Eske Jensen should have had his son Ylfar Eskesen in Brøndum in Kollerup parish which Eske Bonde mentions on 11 March 1470 and 17 May 1473. (Partial (Translation of http://www.noerhave.dk/anetavler.asp?id=53)

Eske Jensen Bonde was married a second time about 1465 to Else Griisdatter. She was born in the 1440s and may have been the daughter of the sister of Anders Griis of Slettegaard in Hjortdal parish. Else Griisdatter whose year of death is unknown, had at least one child with Eske Bonde, that child was a son Niels, born probably in 1465. (Trasnslation of www.hheriksen.dk/familier/n5227.htm)

Eske Jensen Bonde and his eventual father-in-law Anders Griis are mentioned together in a large number of documents and always on the border between the nobles and the peasants. Thus Eske Jensen sealed Bonde and Anders Griis
(after the nobles) the gift certificate of 16 November 1450, with which Karen Nielsdatter, Vogn Jepsen's widow of Alsbjerggård, considered the Helligaand monastery in Aalborg with a bol in Attrup in Torslev parish. In a letter from April 8, 1454, Eske Jensen Bonde and Anders Griis are mentioned after the gunmen, ie among the peasants, but on 2 / 4-1455 in a letter about a convicted bailiff from Aagaard, Eske Jensen Bonde is mentioned as a gunsmith right in front of Anders Griis. On 3 / 4-1458 Anders Griis, bailiff at Han herreds ting, issued a witness about Aagaard estate and here Eske Jensen Bonde is mentioned right after the gunsmith Niels Eriksen (rotfeld of Bratskov, in this letter it is mentioned that Eske Jensen Bonde old benefactor, the the late Niels Pedersen (Gyldenstierne) had had his farm burned down during the peasant uprising in 1441, where all his letters had been burned, and where "he did not come from his farm without a staff in his hand". On 4 / 9-1459 he is mentioned again , just after the sheriff in a letter on the same subject. on 11 / 11-1462 with Bord Jensen in the introduction of the land register entry in 1671 with the old letters extracted from Ekse and Christen Jensen's noble letter from 1430. on 3 / 8-1466 Eske and Anders Griis are mentioned just after some clergy and on 28 / 12-1467 Eske was the first of the peasants On 11 / 3-1470, Eske Jensen Bonde in Borup, Anders Bonde in Kornum, Jes Mørk in Saltum and Ylfar Eskisen in Brøndum were present when the honorable man Anders Griis had a parish witness taken at the cemetery in Hjortdal, and on 17/3 1470 and Eske sealed two documents on the occasion of the change of heart between the half-brothers Axel Lagesen to Clausholm and Mourids Nielsen (Gyldenstierne) just after the arms, but before Morten Nielsen in Ellinggaard, who however belonged to the noble family Vognsen of Stenshede

On 12 May 1470, Eske and Anders Griis again were sealed a witness right after the clergy, just as Eske and Anders Griis and Eske's son Ylfar in Brøndum on 17 July1473 sealed right after the sheriff. After 1473, Eske Jensen Bonde's name is not mentioned in some documents. Eske Jensen Bonde’s seal is preserved in two versions, namely one from 1459 and one from 1470-73, both in rather poor condition. However, in the copy from 1459, both hawks are seen in the shield, while the hat on the helmet is omitted, and instead only six feathers protrude from the helmet. From the list of letters in 1570 (read again in 1671) it is known that Bord Jensen transferred to Eske all the land that he had inherited from his brother Christen, lying in Aalborg on Nørregade and some land on Hasseris Mark.

Bef 1465 Eske married Else Griisdatter, daughter of Anders Griis. Born bef 1440 in Hjortdal, Han herred, Thysyssel, Denmark. Else died in Denmark aft 1501; she was 61.

Translation: There has been some doubt about her parentage. She may have been a sister to Anders Griis; however, there is a greater possibility that she is his daugher. Else Griisdatter was old enough to have given birth to a son Niels by 1465. In 1502 Else Griisdatter was brought in by another family and was promised 7 pounds of flour per year from Slette mill. When or where she died is not known.

They had one child:
5i.
Niels (~1465->1505)
3. Christen Jensen Bonde (Jens Bonde1). Born abt 1400 in Denmark. Christen died in Denmark in 1464; he was 64.

Christen Jensen and his brother Eske Jensen were knighted. Christen Jensen died childless leaving an inheritance tio his brother Bord Jensen who gave it to the remaining brother Eske Jensen. (Translation of http://www.noerhave.dk/anetavler.asp?id=56)

4. Bord Jensen Bonde (Jens Bonde1). Born bef 1410 in Denmark. Bord died in Denmark abt 1474; he was 64.

Bord Jensen Bonde married Kirsten Jensdatter Falk about 1446. She was apparently born about 1400-1405 and died by 1450. She was the daughter of Sir Jens Falk from Vallø, Stenvs herred, Domprovst, Rokilde Stift, Denmark and his wife Birgitte Abrahamsdatter. Kirsten Jensdatter Falk had previously been married to Sir Henning Poddebusk who owned among other places Skjern Castle (Skjern Slot), Skjern, Middelsom herred, Ommer Syssel, Denmark. Skjern Castle is located between the cities of Viborg and Randers. Sir Henning Poddebusk died between 1436 and 1442. Bord Jensen Bonde married Orluf Pedersdatter about 1455. She came from a knightly family located at Nees, Karby parish, Morsø Sonder herred, Thysyssel. Bord Jensen began his career as the castle bailiff at Skjern Castle where he married a wealthy widow. By 1462, he was living at Andrup, Kollerup parish, Hanherred, Thysyssel.

Bord Jensen Bonde and his first wife Kirsten Jensen Falk had no children. He had children by his second wife Orluf Pedersdatter.

When his brothers were granted tirles of nobility in 1430, Bord Jensen was not because of his age. He apparently was considered nobility having a coat of arms with two hawks.

Abt 1446 Bord first married Kirsten Jensdatter Falk. Born abt 1405 in Denmark. Kirsten died in Denmark abt 1450; she was 45.

Abt 1455 Bord second married Orluf Pedersdatter.
