The 1911 Canadian federal census states that the widower David Heisler resided on Heisler’s Island, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. On 3 Mar 1853 David Samuel married Sarah Ann Heyson, daughter of Benjamin William Heyson & Elizabeth Lantz, in Lunenburg, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, British North America. Born on 25 May 1832 in Indian Point, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, British North America.5 Sarah Ann died in Martin’s River, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 28 Oct 1904; she was 72.
