He served as a lay reader, vestry clerk, church warden and choir member of Christ Church Anglican in New Ross. Oscar Elliott was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and the Farmers’ Association. He died from injuries sustained in an accidental fall. He fractured the neck of the left femure and died from pulmonary congestion and hypostasis.
