Richard White was a construction supervisor for many large projects in Eastern Canada for Foundation Canada. He was a residential contractor for many years and was a wood craftsman. He was also a country gospel singer in the family group “The Neighbors” and later “The Whites”.50

Born in Brickton, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Rosamond Winnifred died in Kentville, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada on 2 Nov 2015.112

Rose White worked as a master hair stylist in her early years and was a former Apple Blossom princess for Kingston, Nova Scotia. In later years, Rose Snider worked as an addiction counsellor in Kentville, Nova Scotia. She enjoyed country and gospel music performing at many fundraisers for churches and people in need. She sang in many variety shows throughout the years and throughout the Annapolis Valley and was a member of several musical groups such as “The White Family”, “Neighbours”, “The Nighthawks”, and “Val-Lee-Rose”.50

Leota second married Mark Warren Gertridge. Born on 13 Feb 1938 in Gaspereau, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.112 Mark Warren died in Middleton, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 22 Jul 2018; he was 80.112

Mark Gertridge became an accomplished welder at the Halifax, Nova Scotia shipyards. He eventually became a skilled barber owning and operating the locally famous “Mark's Barber Shop” in Greenwood, Nova Scotia for several decades. He was also a champion stock car driver. Mark Gertridge was Chairman of the Greenwood Village Commission for many years, and King Lion of the Kingston Lion's Club, Kingston, Nova Scotia Over the years he volunteered his time in a variety of roles in local churches including numerous performances where people enjoyed his amazing singing and comedic talents. An avid horseman his entire life, Mark Gertridge competed in and judged horse pulling events both in Canada and the U.S.A. Even after retiring, he remained active in his passion of horsemanship.112
