Lambert Fleet, service number F/86577, served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He was a private in the North Nova Scotia Highlanders, which was part of the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps. Lambert Fleet landed at Juno Beach, Normandie, France on 6 June 1944 and died in battle on 7 June 1944 at or near Bény-sur-Mer, Calvados, France. He is buried at Beny-sur-Mer Canadian Military Cemetery, Reviers, Calvados, France.62
