The date of death for Susannah Catherine (née Hiltz) Zwicker is based upon the information given on page 382 of Mather Byles DesBrisay's History of the County of Lunenburg published in 1895 where he states: "In 1891, Mrs. Susaana Catherine Zwicker departed this life at Oakland near Mahone Bay, at age of 98 years, 8 months and 23 days, leaving fifteen children, ninety-six grandchildren, 178 great-grandchildren, and thirty-two great-great-grandchildren to mourn her departure." Based on the record on her birth in the Zion Lutheran Church records, she was 97 years old rather than the 98 years old recorded by DesBrisay.
