Alberta Keddy was a homemaker and had been employed at Camp Aldershot (Canadian Army base), Kentville, Nova Scotia as well as Evelyn’s Bake Shop for a number of years. She had been very active in the Millville, Nova Scotia Women’s Institute. Alberta Keddy enjoyed square dancing with her late husband, Kenneth and was involved with several square dancing groups. She was also a strong supporter of the Progressive Conservative Party and supported the Apple Blossom Festival within the Aylesford, Nova Scotia area.210
