He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp and the War Medal. Clyde Goulden was a proud Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 98 Kingston, Nova Scotia and served as its Honorary President, a position he had held for nine consecutive years.166
