Abt 1750 Gilgian/Kilian (William) first married Elsbeth (Elisabeth) Allenbach, daughter of David Allenbach & Christina Schranz. Born abt Mar 1728 in Adelboden, Kanton Bern, Switzerland. Elsbeth (Elisabeth) was baptized in Adelboden, Kanton Bern, Switzerland, on 7 Mar 1728.2 Elsbeth (Elisabeth) died in At Sea, in 1751; she was 22.

Elisabeth Allenbach of Adelboden, who was engaged to Gilgian Rosti, emigrated in 1750 to Nova Scotia, against the will of her parents. Elizabeth was the daughter of David Allenbach of Adelboden and she left behind her in this country four brothers and a sister: Abraham, David, Peter, Steffen and Susannah Allenbach. They now request the government to allow them the usufruct of the interest on Elisabeth's inheritance of 222 crowns, and their request is granted.
According to oral reports Elisabeth Allenbach died during the journey at sea.
It is not clear from the documents whether this Gilgian Rosti also emigrated, as may be assumed. It is possible, however, that Elisabeth Allenbach left because she did not wish to marry this man.

Susanna Rösti Deladeray married Johann Georg Würth at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia 6 June 1758 (St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg). It was the second marriage for both of them. Johann Georg Wurth/Worth, who was born about 1720 in the Palatinate and died in 1803. After the death of Susanna Rösti Deladeray, J. Georg Worth married Anna Huy at Lunenburg, N.S. 11 May 1762 (S.J.A.L.).

On 13 Oct 1752 Anna/Susannah first married Jean-Louis Deladeray in Halifax, Nova Scotia, British America.4 Born bef 1730 in Elsaß (Alsace), Kingdom of France or Switzerland. Jean-Louis died in Halifax, Nova Scotia, British America, in Aug 1757; he was 27. Buried on 27 Aug 1757 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, British America.5

Jean-Louis Deladeray arrived in Halifax from possibly Elsaß (Alsace) in 1750. He probably arrived on the Alderney for which no passenger list exists, and therefore, his origins are not known. He was not among the arrivals on the Ann. After his arrival in Halifax, Del’Terre, as he is found in the Halifax records, was placed in the North Suburbs of Halifax and shared lot B-2 with Pierre Chauçon / Chançon.

Louis Deladeray removed to Lunenburg in the spring of 1753 with the other foreign Protestants. Apparently he had been appointed as a constable at Lunenburg because Col. Patrick Sutherland’s account of the Lunenburg Insurrection of December 1753 stated that “A Constable, one LaDerey, then present, refused doing his duty to apprehend one of the Ring-leaders....” The Return of Arms in December 1753 shows him as residing in Rudolf’s Division while the Return of the Divisions stated that Louis Deleterrai occupied lot C-9 at Rudolf’s Division, which was adjacent to Killian Rösty’s lot at C-10. His lot was not improved in any manner according to the return which stated that there was no house or hut. However, his ‘land lot’ was under improvement. (Bell’s Register)

In the 1753 lottery for 30 acre lots, Louis de la Deray drew LaHave lot D-20. In the livestock distribution of 1754, Louis Laderry with Louis Billon drew lot no. 150 for 5 sheep, one sow and one goat. The Deladeray family, like most Lunenburgers, appear on the various victualling lists of the 1750s. The Registries of 30 Acre Farm Lotts and of Town Lots in 1760 state that he had possession of a 30 acre lot at Mahone Bay A-1 (this lot was 90 acres and divided between Guilliaume Rösty, Christian Rösty and Louis Deladeray) and of town lot C-9 in Rudolf’s Division. (Killian Rösty had lot F-6 in Strassburger’s Division.) Although he had died in 1757, the lots were still registered in his name as he had two children as his heirs. (Bell’s Register)
