Mary Elizabeth Caroline died in Ecum Secum, Guysborough Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 25 Aug 1877; she was 50.36

Thomas and Caroline Romkey with two sons resided in the Marie Joseph census district, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia according to the 1871 Canadian federal census.
