Helen Wilkins was employed as a private secretary at the George Frost Company of Shirley, Massachusetts, Field Enterprise (World Book) of Chicago, Illinois and by the U.S. Government Department of Commerce and Civil Service until retirement. She was Master of Shirley Grange No. 254, Worthy Matron of Ida McKinley Chapter No. 86 Order of the Eastern Star, member of the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine No. 30 of Boston, Massachusetts, member of Shirley Historical Society, and The First Parish Meeting House in Shirley Center.
