He later went on to work at Atlantic Bridge and later fished with National Sea Products of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. For most of his working career, he was a scallop fishermen with Adams and Knickle Ltd of Lunenburg and later with Sweeney Fisheries of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia retiring in 1995.156
