1338. Annie Margaret Hirtle (Louisa Sophia Weynacht6, Joseph5, Johann Adam4, Johann Balthasar3, Johann Adam2, Christian1). Born abt 1879 in LaBelle, Queens Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Annie Margaret died bef 1936; she was 57.

Joseph J. and Annie M. Winot with their three children resided at the Talc Mine [Talcville], Rochester, Vermont according to the 1910 United States federal census. They had been married for ten years. Annie Winot had given birth to three childsren by 1910 of which all were still living. Joseph Winot’s brother Henry Winot resided with the family. Joseph Winot was a superintendant in a talc mine. Henry Wonit was a miner in a talc mine. Joseph Winot immigrated to the United States from Canada in 1892 and was not naturalized. Annie and Henry Winot immigrated to the United States in 1900 and were not naturalized. (T624-1618, Vermont, Windsor Co., ED 283, Rochester, p. 14B)

The 1920 United States federal census states that Joseph and Annie Winot with four children resided at the Talc Company Reservation, Rochester, Vermont. They rented their home. Joseph Winot was a superindent at the talc mine. Vernard Winot was a labourer at the talc mine. Joseph Winot immigrated to the United States from Canada in 1888 and was not naturalized. Annie Winot immigrated to the United States in 1900 and was not naturalized. The family employed a servant named Eveline A. Damon who lived in the household. On 2 Mar 1900 Annie Margaret married Joseph Isaiah Winot (1321) , son of 399. John Henry Whynot & Maria Zwicker, in Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.12 Born abt 1876 in LaBelle, Queens Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Joseph Isaiah died in Springfield, Windsor Co., Vermont, U.S.A., on 12 Jun 1954; he was 78.90 Occupation: Farmer.
