When asked, he said that he began working with wood “...as soon as I was old enough to hold a hammer.” His talents led him to a career in woodworking, starting with building homes at Colonial Homes. He co-founded Interhabs in 1975 and managed their manufacturing plant in Hubbards, Nova Scotia until his health no longer allowed him to work. Through his work, Ralph Mosher travelled to Germany, Chile and Argentina. H e particularly enjoyed his time in South America and quickly learned how to communicate without a translator in Spanish.
