In 1974 Patricia married Gordon Kenneth Malloy, son of John James Malloy & Hannah Jane Enslow, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Born on 10 Oct 1948 in East Green Harbour, Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.63 Gordon Kenneth died in At Sea on the fishing boat “Helen & Sylvia” on Ticky’s Shoal near Lockeport, Nova Scotia lighthouse., on 23 Dec 2019; he was 71.63 Occupation: Fisherman, Lobster Fisherman.

Gordie Malloy was an avid fisherman his entire life. He began his fishing career at 15, with Ernest Levy on the Robert & Joyce trawl fishing. A few years later he began sword fishing and longlining alongside his older brothers Gary and Maynard Malloy on their respective vessels. In 1983, he bought his own lobster-fishing vessel, the Rhonda and Gerry, and fished out of West Green Harbour, Nova Scotia with his best friend, Keith Lloyd. In later years his wife served as his first mate and then his brother-in-law Lawrence Townsend until the last day. Gordie Malloy loved the life of a fisherman, from the camaraderie of the wharf to the friendships he made with lobster buyers, fellow fishermen and even fishery officers along the way.63
