7. Thomas Beers (Nathan6, Barnabas5, Anthony4, James3, John2, James1). Born abt 1720 in Stratford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut Colony, British America. Thomas died in Phillipsburg, Sussex Co., New Jersey, U.S.A., on 27 Jul 1796; he was 76.
Records for Morris and Sussex Counties, Province of New Jersey are scarce. It is not known who Thomas Beers married as his first wife. Son Joseph Beers with a birth date of 1754 could be the last child of the first wife or the first child of Anne Nerres, the second wife. Since there were a few older siblings, it seems unlikely that Anne Neeres was the mother to all of the children of Thomas Beers to whom there were 13 children.
