Iver Christen was baptized on Domine Sexagesima (the 2nd Sunday before Ash Wednesday) 1735. His godparents were Ellen Christensdatter of Harring, Jens [----], Anne Lauridsdatter, ???, and [Niels] Pedersen of Harring. (opslag 65)

The betrothal of Iver Christensen of Harring parish and Zidsel Jensdatter [of Villerslev parish] was announced at Villerslev parish church on 25 September 1760. Witnesses to the betrothal were Manden (men) Jens Andersen of Willerslev and Jens [Christensen] of Harring.

The family was known by the name of Kirkegaard because they were the family living at the church farm (Kirkegaard; modern Danish Kirkegård). A family usually took on the name of a farm or a local geographical feature so as to distinguish themselves from other people in the community with the same patronymic. In the case of Iver Christensen and his family, the name Kirkegaard was chosen because they resided at the farm closest to the church and where the minister would change into his religious robes to conduct church services. Ministers in rural areas travelled among several churches. The Kirkegaard was sometimes called the Anexgaard (modern Danish Annexgård).

Iver Christensen, his wife Sidsel Jensdatter and their children resided at Villerslev village and parish, Hassing district, Thisted County according to the 1787 Danish census. Iver Christensen was the head of household, a peasant farmer and farm resident. The census states that their children were born of another marriage (which for Poul Iversen and his siblings is inconsistent given the ages of the children relative to the parents’ marriage and the church registers).

The family of Iver Christensen resided at Villerslev village and parish, Hassing district, Thisted County according to the 1801 Danish census. Iver Christensen was a widower and peasant farmer. His children Jens Iversen, Ane (or Anne) Iversdatter and Maren Iversdatter resided with him.

When Mette Olufsdatter and Knud Olufsen were baptized, the baptismal records state "soldat Oluf Jensen Bojers" which indicates that he was a soldier. The family resided at Sÿndelev (now Sønderlev).

The 1787 Danish census states that Niels Habek and his wife Dorthe Christensdatter resided at Bierregaard, Bedsted parish, Hassing district, Thisted County. He was a farmer (gaardbeboer). His widowed sister Mette Spangberg resided with them. They had two servants (Tjenestefolk): Mads Christensen and Maren Christensdatter).

Their marriage banns were announced on 13 February 1750 at Skinnerup parish church. At the marriage, the best men were Thomas Andersen and Anders Torp, both of Skinnerup.

The 1787 Danish census states that Anders Christen, three adult children and a step granddaughter resided Skinnerup parish, Thisted County. Anders Christensen was a peasant farmer and farm resident (Bonde og gaardbeboer). His children Christen Andersen, Maren Kirstine Andersdatter and Sidsel Marie Andersdatter resided in the household as did Kirsten Marie Thomasdatter, Anders Christensen's eldest son's step-daughter. The household included a servant / farm worker named Villum Jensen.

Evidence suggests that Christen Andersen Vust was born at Lild parish.

Christen Andersen Vust (a.k.a. Kold) was a "Skeduhandler" or skipper at Throrupstrand (now Torup Strand) in 1752-1753. People became skippers to participate in the coastal trade and earn quite a bit of money transporting grain from Denmark to Norway and timber from Norway to Denmark. From 1755 to 1764 Christen Andersen Vust lived at Gundestrup in Skræm parish. In 1765 took residence at Gisholm farm in Vust and remained there until he died in 1771. After his death, his widow Ane Albertsdatter bought Gisholm which at that time was the second largest farm in Vust.

The 1787 Danish census states that Knud Nielsen, Ane Albertsdatter, and her son Peder Christensen resided at Vuust village, Vust parish, Thisted County. Knus Nielsen was a peasant farmer and farm resident (Bonde og gaardbeboer). There were two, unmarried servants or labourers in the household: national soldier Jens Michelsen, age 26; and Peder Broust, age 13. Also there was foster child Maren Thomsdatter (who was the step-daughter of Maren Christensdatter, daughter of Ane Albertsdatter).

The death record for Ane Albertsdatter in the Klim parish records is very faint. The death recorded before Ane Albertsdatter was in February 1796 and the death after in May 1796.

The Lild parish register states that wedding banns for Anders Christensen of Esdahl in Hjardemaal Klitt and Karen Pouelsdatter of Kier [in Lild] were announced 5 November 1768. They married at Lild on 5 Dec 1768.

In 1787 according to the Danish census, Anders Christensen, his wife Karen Paulsdatter, and their six children including a daughter Helle (age 16) lived at Klitten bÿe, Hjardemaal parish, Hillerslev district, Ørum County. The daughter Helle is likely the person who eventually married Niels Jacobsen in the neighbouring parish of Tved.

Jonas Jonsson enlisted in the Swedish Army on 31 March 1767. He served in the Skaraborgs Regiment, Kåkind Company, Krumpekulla Division. Jonas Jonson was 175 cm (5 feet, 9 inches) tall. He was given the military surname Uddrik. He was initially discharged from the army on 22 June 1774 because he was "troubled by lung disease without any hope of getting well". Jonas Uddrik enlisted again on 26 January 1776 and discharged on 14 April 1789. He was discharged because he was at age 47 "old and unhealthy, with weak and redeyes". His charge stated that he served with a positive spirit. While in the army, he resided at a croft (farmstead) called Uddebo in Norra Fågelås. He had a full share to buildings called Uddebo and Landtbyn. According the Swedish Central Soldiers Register, the house no longer exists, but the barn and food cellar remained as late as December 2004. The croft was located directly south of the road to Lagahemmet between the entry to Hulan and Udde. (Centrala Soldatregistret: SK-00-0824-1767: Centrala Soldatregistret, Skövde, Sweden) In June 2006, a derelict barn and root cellar were still on the site.
