302. Charles Frederick Hall (Frederick5, James4, Edmund3, William2, Thomas1). Born on 28 Feb 1903 in Owston, Leicestershire, England. Charles Frederick was baptized in Owston, Leicestershire, England, on 10 Apr 1904. Charles Frederick died in Oakham, Rutland, England, on 27 Nov 1990; he was 87.

He worked on his father's farm until 1924 when it was sold. He later worked for the railway. Harriet was a cook at Oakham Hospital.

Charles Frederick first married Harriet Ellen Nicholls. Born on 23 Jan 1902. Harriet Ellen died in Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England, bef 1993; she was 90.


Charles Frederick second married Winnie Knight. Winnie died in Whissendine, Rutland, England, United Kingdom.

303. Edward William Hall (Frederick5, James4, Edmund3, William2, Thomas1). Born on 25 Jan 1910 in Owston, Leicestershire, England. Edward William was baptized in Owston, Leicestershire, England, on 10 Apr 1910. Edward William died in Spalding, Lincolnshire, England, on 20 Nov 1983; he was 73.

Edward Hall heldan indenture from the International Tea Company Stores. The indenture was dated 29 April 1926. The Company also owned the Star Supply Stores. Edward started working for them on 2 May 1935 making 15 shillings per week. Margaret was a tailoress for nine years at Furley and Hassans. She had an indenture of apprenticeship dated 9 March 1927.

During the Second World War, Edward served in the Royal Air Force. He served from 1939 to 1946. He was an aircraft fitter on Avro Lancasters.

On 5 May 1956, Edward Hall purchased the Bargate China Company at 2 Bridge Street, Spalding. He bought the business for £1758.5.2. On 7 August 1958, the business moved to 2 Sheep Market, Spalding.

Prior to marriage, Edward resided at Sutton Villa, Park Avenue, Skegness, Lincolnshire. Upon marriage, he and Margaret resided at Park Avenue, Skegness. Sometime before purchasing the family business, the Halls moved to Spalding residing first at St. Johns Road and eventually 16 Park Road. Their last residence was at 40 West Parade.

Edward was a life member of the National Truct for which he lectured. After his death, a tee in his memory was planted at Belton Hall. He was a sidesman and later a warden of the St. John's Church in Spalding.

Edward died from mycloma. Margaret died of mycardial infection and coronary artery disease.

On 6 Oct 1934 Edward William married Margaret Staniland in Oakham, Rutland, England. Born on 24 Aug 1911 in Oakham, Rutland, England. Margaret was baptized in Oakham, Rutland, England, on 8 Oct 1911. Margaret died in Boston, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom, on 12 Jun 1989; she was 77.
