The two younger children were her step-grandchildren from John and Maria (Farrow) Darlow. Additionally she had three boarders from the 5th Battallion of the King's Royal Rifles: Herbert Casey age 25 of Oldham, Lancashire; Thomas Evans age 27 of Oldham, Lancashire; and Alfred Wiggins age 28 of Peterboro, Northamptonshire.
