The 1900 United States federal census states that William and Lucy Kerage [Kerridge] with seven children resided in Choctaw Corner, Clarke County, Alabama. By 1900 Lucy Kerridge had given birth to eight children of whom seven were still living. They owned their home mortgage free. William Kerridge was a minister of the gospel. Annie Kerridge was a school teacher. William, Lucy, Annie and Mabel Kerridge immigrated to the United States from England in 1881 and were naturalized.
