7. Michel (Mikkel) Jensen (Jens Nielsen3, Niels Jensen Habeck2, Jens Christensen Habek1). Born on 12 Apr 1796 in Grurup, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark.6 Michel (Mikkel) was baptized in Grurup, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark, on 15 May 1796.6 Michel (Mikkel) died in Bedsted, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark, on 16 Aug 1850; he was 54.1 Buried on 23 Aug 1850 in Bedsted, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark.1

Michel Jensen was a small landholder (huusmand). Residing in their household were her parents Christen Jensen and Mette Kirstine Jensdatter. The family had a servant, Ane Margarethe Nielsdatter, age 23.

Mikkel Jensen was a small landerholder, living on his own lot of land (huusmand, lever af sin jordlod). The census states that he was born in Grurup parish, his wife at Heltborg parish, Else at Bedsted and the younger children at Ørum parish.

Mikkel Jensen, his wife Johanne Christensdatter, their daughter Else Mikkelsdatter, and their son Jens Mikkelsen resided at Hvidbjerg Vesten Aa, Thisted County according to 1850 Danish census. The census states that he was born in Grurup parish, his wife at Heltborg parish, Else at Bedsted and Jens at Ørum parish.

In 1850, Mikkel Jensen and his family were living at Brogaard, Bedsted parish, Hassing district, Thisted County when he died.

Born on 1 Jul 1806 in Horsfeldt, Bedsted, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark.1 Helvig Kirstine was baptized in Bedsted, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark, on 10 Jul 1806.1 Helvig Kirstine died in Villerslev, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark, on 2 Apr 1877; she was 70.8 Buried on 10 Apr 1877 in Villerslev, Hassing herred, Thisted amt, Denmark.8

Witnesses at Helvig Kirstine Jensdatter's baptismal were Maren Andersdatter of Oxenbol (Oksenbol) village, Verstervig and Jens Jensen, Ole Jensen and Niels Jensen of Bedsted.

Helvig Kirstine Jensdatter, her new husband Lars Chistensen Kirkegaard, her children from her fist marriage, and their children are listed in the 1845 Danish census. They resided at Villerslev village and parish, Hassing district, Thisted County. Lars Christensen was a farmer who held the farm by copyhold (Gaardfæster). They had two farmer-workers: Ane Helene Pedersdatter, age 22 from Snedsted; and Peder Jensen Kirk, age 16 from Skyum.

In 1850 Helvig Kirsten Jensdatter, her husband Lars Chistensen Kirkegaard, her children and their children were enumerated in the Danish census. They resided at Villerslev village and parish, Hassing district, Thisted County. Lars Christensen was a farmer who held the farm by copyhold (Gaardfæster) and was listed as head of household (huusfader). Helvig Kirstine Jensdatter, her husband Laust Christensen, their eldest son and his family resided at Villerslev, Hassing district, Thisted County according to the 1870 Danish census. No occupation was stated for Laust Christensen, but his son Christen Larsen Lirkegaard was a day labourer (Dagleier). Laust Christensen and his son Christen Larsen Kirkegaard were born in the parish.
