The 1900 United States federal census states that the widow Emma Steward and her daughter Annie Steward resided at Cedar Street, Rawlins, Carbon County, Wyoming. The census recorded that by 1900 Emma Steward had given birth to two children whom were still living. Emma and Annie Steward were servants in the household of Dr. William Jolley.
