John William Kedy was a member of the 18th Nova Scotia Legislative Assembly representing Lunenburg Township. He was elected as a Reformer during the general election on 5 August 1847. He took his seat when the legislature convened on 22 January 1848. The 18th Legislature sat for four sessions and was dissolved on 26 July 1851. John William Kedy served only one term. (Shirley B.
