In the Name of God I George Boehner Senior of the Township and County of Lunenburg and in the Province of Nova Scotia yeoman being weak in body but of Sound Mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the Same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to Say [Impremis] I commend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God who gave it to me and my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in a decent christian like manner and as for that worldly wherewithal it has pleased God to bless me with I dispose thereof as follows after all my lawful debts and funeral expenses are paid. First I give desire and bequeath unto my daughter Regina Conrad, wife to John Conrad her heirs and assigns All that my One half of a lot of land with half the buildings thereon Situate lyeing And being at South in the Township of Lunenburg aforesaid which I purchased in conjunction with the late Francis Conrad formerly the property of John Paine deceased. 2d I give and bequeath unto my four daughters Barbara wife to Philip Knock, Charlotte wife to Philip Hirtle Hannah wife to Francis Morash and Sophia wife to George Anderson to each of them the sum of One hundred pounds currency to be paid out of my personal estate either in Cash Notes of hand Mortgage or other good and sufficient Securities within Six months after my decease I also give devise And bequeath unto my Six grand children Augusta, Caroline, Sophia, George, Josiah and James children of My daughter Elizabeth deceased the Sum of One hundred pounds currency payable out of my personable estate to be equally divided between them and paid On their respectively Attaining the age of Twenty One years, and in case any or either of them Shall happen to die before his or her attaining their aforesaid Age then and in that case I give the Share or proportion of Such One so dying unto the survivors or survivor of them, And I do hereby authorise and empower the guardians hereinafter [------] to my said minor grand children place at interest [---] good and Sufficient Securities the Share or proportions of Such Minors aforesaid and that the interest accruing and arising therefore Shall be applied towards their maintenance and Support until they Shall Severally and respectively attain their Said Age. 3d I give devise and bequeath unto my Son John Boehner during his life and after his decease to his lawful children their heirs and assigns two lots of land part of the [----] and with the buildings thereon formerly the property of Matthew Ruhland situate lying and being near the town of Lunenburg. 4th I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Thomas Boehner during his life only and after the death of my Said Son Thomas in case he marries and has issue to Such issue his her or their heirs and assigns forever, aside for default thereof then to the right heirs of me the Said George Boehner Senior four town Lot of ground situate in the the town plot of Lunenburg Known as Lot numbers one two thirteen and four teen Zouberbuhlers division letter A Also three water Lot in the division fronting the same, numbers One two and three. 5th I give devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my Real and personal estate unto my Seven children & unto the children of my late daughter Elizabeth as for One Share the of the remainder as aforesaid to be divided in eight equal parts or Shares. Lastly I do hereby devise the guardianship of my said grand children during their minorities as aforesaid unto my sons in law George Anderson and Francis Morash and the Survivor of them And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the Said George Anderson and Francis Morash executors of my last will and testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made and confirming this only as and for my last will and testament. The witneses whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty eighth day of April in the year of Our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and forty two:1842
