On 28 Jul 1752 Honora married John Bury in Halifax, Nova Scotia, British America.1

3. George Collicut (Thomas1). Born abt 1735 in British America. George died in Chester, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, British North America, aft 1824; he was 89.

In his diary, Rev. Seccombe mentions that George Collicutt, his wife and child came to Chester from Halifax. The context suggests that this happened in 1761 or 1762. The identity of George's wife has been hard to establish. Their marriage record calls her Elizabeth Reastor, while the Lutheran membership list of 1772 refers to Elizabeth Collicutt, daughter of of John Peter Rudolph, step-daughter is the more likely relationship. In the Lunenburg County Administation Papers of 1763-1715 (NSARM, RG 48, reel 882), there is a resignation of the administration of the estate of Christian Rosty, 31 May 1763, by his widow Catherine Coliket. Christian Rösty's wife was Elizabeth Hog/Haag. (Terry Punch, Dec. 1994)

The 1791 poll tax census for Chester, Nova Scotia states that George Collicot was the Master of a Vessel. He paid a poll tax of five shillings. (Nova Scotia Archives, RG 1, vol. 444, no. 5)

The 1794 poll tax census for Chester, Nova Scotia states that George Collicot was a farmer. He owned two cattle and six sheep. He paid a poll tax of one shilling, 9 pence. (Nova Scotia Archives, RG 1, vol. 444½, no. 24)

The 1795 poll tax census for Chester, Nova Scotia states that George Collicott paid a poll tax of one shilling, 9 pence. (Nova Scotia Archives, RG 1, vol. 444½, no. 59)

On 6 Nov 1760 George married Elisabetha Catherina Haag, daughter of Unknown Haag & Anna Maria [Haag], in Halifax, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia, British America.1 Born abt 1736 in Kur-Pfalz, Holy Roman Empire.
