In 1817 census for Windsor Township, Hants County, Nova Scotia states that Peter Collicut and his family resided in the township. The household totalled seven people: one man over 50 years; three men between 16 and 50 years; two women; and one girl. The family were classified as Acadians or N. Scotians. The 1838 census of Nova Scotia states that Peter Collicut and his family resided at Windsor Township, Hants County. Peter Collicut was a trader. The household consisted of five people: Peter Collicut as head of household; one male under 14 years of age; one female under 14 years of age; one male over 14 years of age, and two females above 14 years of age.
