Abt 1837 Mary Ann married Paulus Rafuse, son of Eberhard Rafuse & Catherine Elizabeth Klettenberger. Born on 16 Apr 1810 in New Dublin Twp., Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, British North America. Paulus died in Young’s Cove, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1884; he was 73.
Paulus and Mary Ann Rafuse with five children [including a granddaughter] resided in the Port Medway census district, Queens County, Nova Scotia according to the 1871 Canadian federal census. Daughter Rosanna Rafuse was listed as married but her husband was not in the household. Paulus Rafuse was a labourer. Paulus Rafuse and the children were Methodists. Mary Rafuse was a Baptist.
