Bob Fitch was as a licensed carbon arc projectionist for the movie theatres. He went on to work as a projectionist for Spencer Family Theatres in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia until enlisting the the Canadian Army in the Second World War, expecting to be sent overseas. Due to being a licensed projectionist, he was instead put in charge of the camp theatre at Aldershot, Nova Scotia, where he ran the training videos for the duration of the war. After the war, they moved to Truro, Nova Scotia for a brief time where he ran the theatre, before taking a job with Acadia Bus Lines and moving back to Kentville, Nova Scotia. After returning to Kentville, Bob Fitch also worked as a projectionist for George Fielding Cinemas, which included the Paramount Cinema in Kentville and the Valley Drive-In. He eventually began working for the Post Office Department (Royal Mail Canada) / Canada Post Corporation in Kentville, where he remained until his retirement 31 years later. During his time with the Canada Post, he was the Shop Steward for the local chapter of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, and he received an award for Canada Post Philatelic Clerk. He became the president of the Kings County Academy Band Parents Association, and in later years the president of the Atlantic division of the Wally Byam Airstream Trailer Club.137

Frank Fitch was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kings Branch No. 6, Kentville, Nova Scotia. He was retired from Canada Post after 35 years and was the last survivor of the original five letter carriers in Kentville. He was a member of the Kentville United Baptist Church, where he was active with the choir and was also a member of the Dukes of Kent, SPEBSQSA (Barbershoppers). He was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed bowling and painting, and was instrumental in the organizing of the first minor baseball and hockey organizations in Kentville. He also enjoyed being a projectionist for the Valley Drive-In, Cambridge, Nova Scotia and the Paramount Theatre, Kentville.213
