Harvey Keddy served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He served in England, France and Germany. After the war he worked locally and at Greenwood Canadian Forces Base in Greenwood, Nova Scotia until retirement in 1979. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion in Berwick, Nova Scotia.44

Harvey Kitchener married Helen E. McMaster. Born in 1924 in South Farmington, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Helen E. died in Halifax, Halifax R.M., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 6 Jul 2008; she was 84.137

Kenneth Keddy was a carpenter by trade and worked for E.R. Masters and Sons Limited in Kings County, Nova Scotia for several years. He later worked as a well driller. He was a member of the Aylesford, Nova Scotia Apple Blossom Committee.44

On 1 Oct 1942 Kenneth Joffrey married Phyllis Alberta Nixon in Berwick, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.10 Born abt 1923 in Weston, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Phyllis Alberta died in Middleton, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 10 May 2012; she was 89.213

Alberta Keddy was a homemaker and had been employed at Camp Aldershot (Canadian Army base), Kentville, Nova Scotia as well as Evelyn’s Bake Shop for a number of years. She had been very active in the Millville, Nova Scotia Women’s Institute. Alberta Keddy enjoyed square dancing with her late husband, Kenneth and was involved with several square dancing groups. She was also a strong supporter of the Progressive Conservative Party and supported the Apple Blossom Festival within the Aylesford, Nova Scotia area.213
