Born on 21 Jun 1931 in Melrose, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, U.S.A.20 Jane died in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine, U.S.A., on 24 Apr 2018; she was 86.

Jane Woodland graduated from Kathleen Dell Secretarial School in Brookline, Massachusetts in 1951. In 1945, she became a member of the First Congregational Church in Melrose, Massachusetts and after moving to Maine, she attended the United Baptist Church in Saco.

Until her retirement in 1983, Jane Bellevue and her late husband Robert, owned and operated The Grove, Cap'n Bob's and the Pine Point Clam Cake Company in Scarborough, Maine for 25 years. She was an active volunteer at the Maine Medical Center in Portland from 1975-79, and at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. Following her retirement from the restaurant business, she worked eight years as a volunteer coordinator at the Jewish Home for the Aged, which became Cedars, in Portland. She later worked for several years as a certified active coordinator for St. Andre's Health Care Facility in Biddeford, Maine. She was also an active volunteer for the Ocean Park Association in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Her hobbies included knitting, quilting, crocheting, rug hooking, puzzles and crosswords.
