Born on 27 Sep 1948 in Windsor, Hants Co., Nova Scotia, Canada. Brian Aubrey died in Windsor, Hants Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 11 Jan 2013; he was 64.
Brian Redden spent most of his career in sales, and for the past thirty years prior to 2013, he was employed in the automobile industry. He worked at dealerships throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality and the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, most recently at Armstrong’s Auto Sales.
Brian Redden was an avid sportsman, playing a variety of sports. A gifted hockey player, he played competitive provincial hockey at all levels, and was a member of the 1966 Halifax Junior Canadians and the Oshawa Generals which is the farm team for the Boston Bruins. He also played Senior Hockey in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. He coached the Windsor Schooners to a provincial senior championship, as well as a high school hockey coach. Brian Redden was recognized for his contribution to the sport and his community in 2002, by being inducted into the Birthplace of Hockey Hall of Fame.
