As a young man Firman Whynot came to Bridgewater and worked for some time in the Box Factory there.  He was for many years the engineer at the LaHave Creamery, and ever since 1939 was the operator of the plant of the Public Service Commission at Conquerall Mills, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia.  He had been residing in Conquerall Mills from 1944 until his derath. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Engineers.40

On 16 Oct 1915 Firman William first married Cora June Veinot, daughter of Albert Augustus Veinot & Sarah A. Fisher, in Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.8 Born on 29 Jun 1896.8 Cora June died in Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 24 Jul 1937; she was 41.8 Buried on 27 Jul 1937 in Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.8
