Arthur Hatt, service no. F/39618, was a private in the West Nova Scotia Regiment of the Canadian Infantry Corps during the Second World War. He was killed in action on 7 October 1943 after the British and Canadian assault on the Volturno Line at the River Biferno in Italy. He is buried at the Moro River Canadian War Cemetery, San Donato, Ortona commune, Chieti, Italy.48
