The 1920 United States federal census states that Mable A. Romkey resided at Lasell Seminary [for Young Women (now Lasell College)], 117 Woodland Road, Newton, Massachusetts. She was a boarder at the Seminary. Mable Romkey was a bookkeeper there. She immigrated to the United States from Canada in 1903 and was not naturalized. Mabel Croft died from a c.v.a. (cardiovascular accident) and had suffered from schizophrenia for ten years.
