Born on 29 Mar 1784 in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden.2 Johannes was baptized in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 2 Apr 1784.2 Johannes died in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 13 Apr 1826; he was 42.2 Occupation: Artillerist.

The Gränna parish records state that Johannes was born out of wedlock (utomäktenskaplig) at Gst Hålgatan to maiden (piga) Brita Andersdotter and probable father (trolig fader) Karl Semon.

On 16 Mar 1804 Johannes married Maria Stina Andersdotter Wettergren, daughter of Anders Andersson Wettergren & Kierstin Gabrielsdotter, in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden.2 Born on 3 Aug 1775 in Norra Fågelås, Skaraborgs län, Sweden.4 Maria Stina was baptized in Norra Fågelås, Skaraborgs län, Sweden, on 4 Aug 1775.4 Maria Stina died in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 5 Apr 1828; she was 52.2

In 1803 when Maria Andersdotter gave birth to her first daughter, she was not married to Johannes Semon. Her residence according to the parish records was Gränna. In 1804 Maria Stina Wettergren of Gränna Norrtull married Johannes Semon. In 1805, Maria Andersdotter and her husband Johannes Semon had twins and resided in Gränna town. Johannes Semon was an artilleryman (Artillerist). The evidence suggests that Maria Andersdotter was the same person as Maria Stina Wettergren.

The household examination roll of Gränna for 1821-1825 states that Johannes Semon , his wife Maja Andersdotter and two young children resided at Östra Byggningsraden, Gränna, Jönkopings län, Sweden. When their last child was born in 1822, the parish register stated that Johannes Semon was a discharged artillery man (Artillerist Avsk). Johannes Semon died of lung soot (Lungsot) at Gst Söder Tull, Gränna. Maja Andersdotter Semon was a poverty stricken widow (fattighjon Änk) when she died of breast fever [cancer?] bröstfeber in 1828 at Gst Söder Tull, Gränna.

Born on 17 Oct 1792 in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden.2 Jonas was baptized in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 19 Oct 1792.2 Jonas died in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 29 Sep 1793; he was <1.2 Buried on 6 Oct 1793 in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden.2

He died of whooping cough (kikhosta) at Gränna Stad.

Born on 19 Oct 1794 in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden.2 Jonas was baptized in Gränna, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 21 Oct 1794.2 Jonas died in Skärstad, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 15 Feb 1854; he was 59.

Jonas Simon was a member of the Lif company, Jönköpings Regimente. The Skärstad parish records state that Jonas Simon was Soldier no. 8 (Soldat Nr. 8) residing at Krubbarp, Stärstad when he married Maja Stina Jansdotter of Södra Målen, Skärstad.

The Simon family resided at Krubbard torp according the the birth records of the children. By 1826, Jonas Simon was recorded as a corporal rather than a soldier.

The parish records state that Johan Simon died at Skärstad Postgård. He was a discharged soldier (Soldat Avskeda). He died of a 'cold' (Förkylning), age 59, 3 months and 26 days.

On 23 Oct 1818 Jonas married Maria Stina Jansdotter in Skärstad, Jönköpings län, Sweden. Born abt Jun 1789. Maria Stina died in Skärstad, Jönköpings län, Sweden, on 7 Jan 1849; she was 59.

Maria Stina Jansdotter died at Krubbarp Simonstorp, Skärstad. She was described at a housewife (husfru). She was age 59, 6 months when she died.
