About 1879 they moved to Grrenleaf township, Saniliac Co., Mich. The family has not yet been located in the 1870 U.S. federal census.
The 1880 U.S. federal census indicates that the Leplay family resided at Greenleaf township, Sanilac Co., Mich. William and Sarah Leplay were born in England while the children were born in Ohio according to the census. William Leplay was a farmer. (T9-605, ED 332, p. 170)
