The 1920 U.S. federal census states that Frederick and Ethel Lepla resided at Bingham Township, Huron County, Michigan. Frederick Lepla was born in Ohio. Ethel LePla was born in Canada (most likely Ontario). The children were born in Michigan.
Frederick married Ethel C. Dobson. Born abt 1883 in Ontario, Canada.

William Leepla and Bertha Lepla are enumerated in the 1910 U.S. federal census (ED 142, sheets 4B and 5A [T623, roll 743, p. 165-166]). They resided at Greenleaf township, Sanilac County, Mich. He was a farmer. They had been married for 11 years at the time of the census and had only one child in those years. Their son Wilford was born in Wisconsin.
The 1930 U.S. federal census states that William and May Lepla with their daughter Gladys resided at Evergreen Twp., Sanilac Co., Michigan. William Lepla was a farmer. He was born in Ohio. May and Gladys Lepla were born in Michigan. (1930, roll 1028, ED 14, p. 5a)
In 1899 William married Bertha May [LePla]. Born in Mar 1879 in Michigan, U.S.A.

The 1900 U.S. federal census (ED 6, sheet 2A [T623, roll 715, p. 64]) states that Harry Lepla was a boarder in the household of George Hagen. He resided at Colfax Twp., Huron Co., Mich. He was a ady labourer. The census states that he was born in Michigan (contrary to the 1880 census). It also states that his father was born in France and his mother in England.

The 1900 U.S. federal census (ED 126, sheet 6B [T623, roll 743, p. 158]) indicates that Clara R. Lepla resided with her brother Frederic and their widowed mother Sara. They resided at Grrenleaf township, Sanilac Co., Michigan.
The 1910 U.S. federal census states that John and Clara Young with their daughter resided at 1164 Canton ant Hancock Avenue East, Detroit, Michigan. John Young was a marine engineer at or on the Great Lakes. John and Clara were married for two years by 1910. John Young was born in Canada. Clara Young and daughter Leta were born in MIchigan. John and Clara Young with four children resided at 820 Senisa Street, Detroit, Michigan according to the 1920 U.S. federal census. They owned their own home. John Young was an engineer at an electric company. His son Earl Young was a pipe [cover] at Edison. John Young emigrated from Canada to the United States in 1893 and was naturalized. John and Clara Young with four children resided at 2420 Senisa Street, Detroit, Michigan according to the 1930 U.S. federal census. They owned their own home which was valued at U.S. $7500.00. John Young was an engineer at Edison. His son Earl Young was a pipe [cover] at Edison. John Young emigrated from Canada to the United States in 1900 and was naturalized.
