Frank Wilson (service number J/21729) was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force at the time of marriage. He was in the 424th squadron of the R.C.A.F. He was a flight officer - navigator. Based at Zina Airfield, Kairouan, Tunisia, Frank Wilson served over Italy during pre-invasion of bombings Italy in August 1943. He and his four crew mates died on 26 August 1943 and are burried at Bari War Cemetery, Carbonara di Bari, Apulia, Italy.142
