William LeBaron McKiel was an Anglican priest for 48 years. He was a graduate of King’s College, Windsor, Nova Scotia. He was ordained a deacon on 23 Septwember 1863 and a priest on 24 September 1865. He served four parishes thruoghout New Brunswick during his 48 years as a priest: Bathurst, Douglas and Bright, St. Martins and Lancaster. His first parish was St. George’s in Bathurst, New Brunswick. In 1874 he was transferred to Douglas, New Brunswick where he served fior 17 years. In 1891 he became the parish priest at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in St. Martin’s, New Brunswick. Politically Rev. Mckiel was a Liberal-Conservative. William Henry Lockett was a widower and a grocer living in Everett, Massachusetts at the time of marriage.

The 1910 United States federal census states that William and Ella Lockett resided at 101 M Street, [South] Boston, Massachusetts. They rented their home which was run by them as a boarding house. They had 14 boarders in the home. William Locket was a clerk for a grocer. Ella Lockett was the housekeeper for the boarding house. William Lockett immigrated to the United from Canada in 1843 and was not naturalized. Ella Lockett immigrated to the United States from Canada in 1888 and was not naturalized.
