The wedding of John Christopher Rudolf and Anna Elizabeth Koch appears to have been a society wedding.  The surviving guest list of the wedding represents the ‘good society’ of late eighteenth century Lunenburg.  In his diary, Leonard Christopher Rudolf gave a description of the wedding with a guest list:
