Harold Edward Baker, service number 69104, was a member of the 26th battalion of the New Brunswick Regiment in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He was reported missing on 15-17 September 1916 during the Battle of Flers-Courcelette (part of the larger Battle of Somme) and officially declared dead on 17 September 1916. His body was not found, and he is commemorated at the Vimy Memorial at Vimy, Pas-de-Calais, France.80
