Lucille Anderssen was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, Nova Scotia, where she was an active member of the Altar Guild for many years. She was also an active member of the Goreham Chapter I.O.D.E., past Regent, and the Eastern Star, Arbutus Chapter. She was a graduate from Mahone High School and Provincial Normal College in Truro, Nova Scotia. She began her teaching career in Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia, continuing in various schools in Lunenburg County, the Junior High School in Milton, Queens County, Nova Scotia and then grade six in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.

On 21 Nov 1940 Lucille Alexandra married Eric Archibald Anderssen in Moncton, Westmorland Co., New Brunswick, Canada.63 Born on 7 Jul 1901 in Moser River, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.13 Eric Archibald died in Liverpool, Queens Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 18 Jun 1994; he was 92. Occupation: Mechanic.

On 12 Oct 1935 Frances Arline married John Howard Buntain M.D. in Armdale, Halifax, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.13 Born on 19 Aug 1911 in Rustico, Lot 24, Queens Co., Prince Edward Island, Canada. John Howard died in Kentville, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, on 3 Sep 1971; he was 60.

John H. Buntain graduate from Dalhousie University Medical School in 1935. From 1935 to 1940 he practised medicine in Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia when he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force medical corps. He served as a flight lieutanant. He was discharged in 1943 and started a medical practice in Kentville, Nova Scotia and eventually joined the staff of Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital in that community. In 1949 Dr. Buntain did a postgraduate programme in ophthalmology at the New York Polyclinic in New York City.

Dr. Buntain served on the Kentville, Nova Scotia town council from 1956 to 1960. He was chairman oof the Kentville school board from 1958 to 1960. He was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party and served as president of the Kings North Progessive Conservative Association. John Buntain was a member of the Horton Masonic Lodge. Helen Joudrey was a member of St. James’ Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, where she belonged to the Altar Guild for many yearsand served as president of the Mahone Bay Branch of the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary for a number of years. She graduated from Mahone Bay High School, Kings University and Dalhousie University. She began her teaching in Windsor Junction and Bedford, Nova Scotia, but most of her career was on the staff of Halifax City, Nova Scotia schools, retiring in 1973.57
