Warren S. Hebb, service no. R/88174, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He was a warrant officer and air gunner in the 97th Royal Air Force Squadron. In the summer of 1943, the squadron was based in Bourn, England. The 97th R.A.F. squadron was a pathfinder bomber group. His plane was shot down over Germany on 28 August 1943. He is buried in the Dürnbach War Cemetery, Dürnbach, Bavaria, Germany.80
