Linda Paulsen graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Upon returning home to Woburn, Massachusetts, she began teaching at Dr. Daniel L. Joyce Middle School and Kennedy Middle School and ended her thirty-six year teaching career at Woburn High School in special education. She retired from teaching in 2004. During her time teaching, Linda Pouech earned a Masters in Education from Boston State College (now the University of Massachusetts - Boston). She led the National Honor Society and founded and directed The Learning Center at Woburn High School.
When the children were young, the family enjoyed special vacations camping in New England or Canada. In later years, they enjoyed boating on Sparkle Plenty during many journeys in the Atlantic and up and down the sea coast. In later years, she and her husband Joe Jouech enjoyed international travel to the Caribbean, South American, and Europe, where Linda enjoyed collecting art from her many destinations.
Linda Pouech was a gourmet cook, spending many hours in her kitchen creating special meals for her family. She had an encyclopedic knowledge of gardening and spent many hours tending to her beloved backyard garden, which was always teeming with beautiful flowers, vegetables and herbs that were often added to her gourmet dishes to be enjoyed by her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Linda Pouech remained active in charitable work in Woburn. She volunteered her time and talents to the Visiting Nurses Asscociation (V.N.A.) Hospice in Woburn, helping them to raise awareness and money. She was also very active with the Woburn Historical Society and belonged to the monthly book club at the Woburn Public Library. For the last twenty-plus years, she loved spending time with her beloved "biddies," a group of her dearest friends who gathered weekly on Wednesday to work on a special project together.
On 6 Oct 1966 Linda Jeanne first married John Joseph O'Brien in Lowell, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, U.S.A. Born on 9 Aug 1926 in Lowell, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, U.S.A. John Joseph died on 24 Sep 2012; he was 86. They were divorced in Nov 1977.

On 12 Aug 1966 Alan William first married Sandra Jean Auricchio in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto Co., Texas, U.S.A. Born on 17 May 1947 in Haverhill, Essex Co., Massachusetts, U.S.A. Sandra Jean died in Haverhill, Essex Co., Massachusetts, U.S.A., on 3 Dec 2020; she was 73. They were divorced in Jan 1975.
