Marie Abrahamsen and their three children joined Jens Abrahamsen later in the same year. She registered with the Copenhagen police on 4 November 1886 their intent to emigrate. She stated that she and the children were going to Augusta, Kansas. There parish of origin was not stated. They were sailing indirectly to New York City. Their contract was no. 370300. Marianne Abrahamsen and the three children emigrated from Denmark via Hamburg, Germany. They sailed from Hamburg to New York City on the SS Gellert of the Hamburg-America Line. The ship departed Hamburg on 7 November 1886. Travelling with them was Phillip Abrahamsen, the elder brother of Jens Abrahamsen.
