Arnold Hyson was a sergeant (service number R/104434) in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He enlisted on 28 July 1941. He was an air gunner. Arnold Hyson was trained at Saint-Hubert and Victoriaville, Québec and at Stanley, Trenton and Mountain View, Ontario before being sent to England on 20 March 1942. He served in the 405th squadron of the R.C.A.F. His plane was shot down over Germany on 8 December 1942. He was initially buried in a military cemetery in Düsseldorf, Reichsgau Düsseldorf, Germany. After the war, he was re-buried in the Reichswald War Cemetery, Kleve, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.80,25
